The Final Judgment
A gentle reminder of what criteria Christ says he uses.
Surprisingly, He doesn’t ask people if they accepted him as their personal Lord and Savior.
Nor does he ask about their voting habits.
Nor does he ask about tithing, church membership, church attendance, sexual orientation, “purity”, nationality, or denomination.
Doesn’t even ask if you went forward at a Billy Graham crusade.
‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Why, it’s almost like he doesn’t care about your personal beliefs at all, but about how kind you were to your neighbor, who is (like you) made in the image of God.
Clearly, Christ needs to be set straight about Christianity.
